TKDL Pre-Grant Opposition under Section 25.(1) brought to the notice of examination division the prior art references on the use of Aphanamixis polystachya as Strength promoting and for the treatment of Diseases of heart, Inflammation, Gout, Acute diarrhoea, Psoriasis, tremors, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatism, Dyspnoea and Immuno suppressive / Emaciating diseases from the books – Bharata Bhaisajya Ratnakara (Ayurveda, Exhibit 1, 4 & 9), Gadanigrahah by Sodhala (Ayurveda, Exhibit 2 & 6), Bhavaprakasa by Bhavamisra (Ayurveda, Exhibit 3), Ayurveda Sarasamgrahah (Ayurveda, Exhibit 5), Aryabhisaka by Smkaradajisastripade (Ayurveda, Exhibit 7), Astanga Hrdaya by Vagabhata (Ayurveda, Exhibit 8), Nighanturatnakarah (Ayurveda, Exhibit 10), Cakradattah by Cakrapanidattah (Ayurveda, Exhibit 11) and Bhaisajya Ratnavali by Govinda Dasa (Ayurveda, Exhibit 12).
